Each of these pests suck human and animal blood and carry diseases.

Health Risks of Mosquito Bites
Through their bites, mosquitoes can transmit and carry numerous infections diseases, which typically are blood-borne illnesses. Mosquitoes will transmit malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, encephalitis, Chikungunya, West Nile Virus, and Zika Virus. Symptoms of West Nile Virus include flu-like symptoms that if left untreated can lead to high fevers, weakness, confusion, and coma. The Zika Virus most commonly causes high fevers, rashes, headaches, joint pain, conjunctivitis, and muscle pain. It is especially risky for the elderly, small children, or pregnant women.
What Mosquitoes Look Like
Mosquitoes are most easily identified by their distinctive long legs. Female mosquitoes have a long proboscis that they use to suck blood out of humans and mammalian pets like cats or dogs. Fully grown adult mosquitoes have a narrow oval-shaped body and are about a quarter-inch long. Most mosquito species in the Valley are grayish in appearance. They may have iridescent white, silver, blue, or green scales or white stripes across their abdomen.
Mosquito Extermination Services
Here are the treatment plans we recommend. We are certified to use each of these treatments, which are safe and efficient for mosquito removal and control:
Water Granule Treatment
Since mosquitoes thrive in water, we apply safe and ecologically-friendly anti-hatch and larval growth inhibitors that prevent mosquito eggs and larvae from developing into adult mosquitoes. These growth inhibitors are non-toxic and safe for humans and pets. We apply these treatments as granules to water quality systems to achieve prevention goals in standing water environments, such as swimming pools or jacuzzis.
Pesticide Treatment
We also apply an organic microbial insecticide to trees, lawns, and outdoor vegetation that kills mosquito eggs to prevent them from hatching. Trees, shrubs, and virtually any backyard or garden plant may become nesting sites for certain species of mosquitoes in Las Vegas. Our insecticides can be applied either as a spray or as a fog, and will kill mosquitoes nesting in your vegetation.
